We handle tax procedures for self-employed people and individuals in Barcelona. The first step is to identify the tax, the year or reporting period, and the circumstances behind the return. We then review the documents required and define the work you are commissioning.
You can contact us about VAT, income tax instalment payments or the annual income tax return in Spain. We do not apply the same list of forms to every case: your activity, tax regime and transactions determine which obligations need to be reviewed.
We review the tax, reporting period and obligations before preparing the filing.
We check the information provided and identify missing supporting documents or points to clarify.
We agree the scope of the service and how additional work will be handled before starting.
A VAT return requires a review of the transactions and documents for the reporting period. Form 303 is the Spanish VAT self-assessment return; whether it applies and how often it is filed depend on the regime and the taxpayer’s circumstances. Exempt or special transactions need a specific review.
To prepare the filing, we need issued and received invoices, available records, and information from previous returns that affects the period. Assessing an expense means reviewing its circumstances and supporting documents; having a receipt alone does not establish that it is deductible.
Income tax instalment payments and the annual income tax return are different procedures. Form 130 concerns instalment payments for business activities under Spain’s direct assessment regime when filing is required. We review your circumstances before including it in the service.
For the annual return, we review the tax information and documents for the year that you provide, including business records where relevant. Tell us about other income, personal changes or information you want checked. The scope and quote depend on the documents and the complexity of your case.
Tell us which return you need, the tax year or quarter concerned and whether a version has already been filed.
Gather identification, tax information, invoices, records and previous returns relating to the assignment.
Tell us about special transactions, incomplete documents, previous errors or notices received.
After reviewing your circumstances, we agree the quote, outstanding documents and authorisations needed for the work.
The tax calendar depends on the tax and the reporting period. The direct debit deadline may differ from the filing deadline, so check the current calendar and provide your documents in advance. The specific date is reviewed for each assignment.
If a return has already been filed or you have received an official communication, tell us at the first contact and keep the full submission receipt or notice. We review the appropriate action and whether it falls within the agreed service; a correction or an official request may need a separate assignment.
