Hassle-Free Import Procedure
Bringing a recreational vessel from a third country (outside the European Union, such as the U.S. or the United Kingdom after Brexit) or transferring the flag of a European boat requires complying with strict maritime regulations. We take care of the Single Administrative Document (SAD), tariffs, tax exemptions for relocation, CE marking projects, and the final registration before the Port Authority.

Frequently Asked Questions about Importing
You must pay 21% VAT (calculated on the value of the boat plus transportation costs), customs duties (normally 1.7% to 2.7%) and the Special Registration Tax if the length exceeds 8 meters (12%, except for commercial charter exemptions).
If the boat comes from the USA or another non-EU country and lacks the original CE marking for the European market, an individual approval called Post-Construction CE Marking must be carried out, which requires a naval engineer to inspect the boat and issue a technical report of conformity.
